The Little Nature Museum

The mission of The Little Nature Museum is to develop awareness and appreciation of the natural world and the environment through the Museum's hands-on and interactive collections, trails, and educational programs.

The collections include rocks, minerals, fossils, sea life, insects, mounted birds and mammals, and plants. There are also interpretive exhibits, hands-on activities (with prizes for children), and interpretive trails to enjoy.

The Little Nature Museum is a federally registered non-profit organization.

The Museum is appropriate for adults and children. Beginning in May, 2015, it will be open weekends and on certain holidays. It is also open by appointment on weekdays for groups of 6 or more.
